SettsPlus Minimum Requirements
Computer and Processor 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster x86- or x64-bit processor
Memory (RAM) 2 gigabytes (GB) RAM (64-bit), 4 gigabytes (GB) recommended.
Video Dispay 1280 x 800 or greater (at 100% scaling).
Hard Disk

At least 3.0 gigabytes (GB) available for client machines. For the server machines, this depends on the potential database size. It's best to contact your IT support to discuss storage requirements.

Operating System

SettsPlus runs on 32-bit and 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows operating systems:

  • Windows 10/11 (32-bit or 64-bit)
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Windows Server 2019

Windows XP, Windows 7, Window 8, Window 8.1, Windows Server 2008 (inc R2), Windows Server 2012 (inc R2) have passed mainstream end of life support from Microsoft.
SettsPlus (and associated programs and websites such as PEXA) may run on these, but we are unable to guarantee or provide support for these operating systems

Word Version
  • Word 2013
  • Office 365 Word
  • Word 2016 onwards.

We still support Word 2010. However, there are known issues with Word 2010 running on a machine using Windows 10. It should also be noted that Word 2007 is no longer supported by Microsoft. Click here for details.

We do NOT Support the Microsoft Store version of Word. (generally Preloaded on new PC's)
Unistall this version then Install the version from the Microsoft / Office website

To uninstall Office from the Store, got to Settings - Apps - Apps & features - Microsoft Office Desktop Apps - Uninstall.

Email Program
  • Thunderbird 60.0 or Greater
  • Outlook 2013
  • Outlook 2016 onwards.
  • 365 Outlook

We require that the printer to be able to do the following:

  • Print on plane paper.
  • Duplex for all Landgate forms.
  • Includes muti-bins to allow letterhead and plane paper documents on different trays.

A standard laser printer should be sufficient. For cheques and reciepts, a laser printer will also meet the requirements. A seperate printer (or additional bin) for cheques is recommended.


We require that the scanner be twain compatible. Please contact your IT support to ensure your scanner is compatible and functional.
