5.4 - Title Register, Archive Search and Lookup Lists

To add a Title received prior to settlement to the Title Register, press Add, then enter who the Title was received from and their address. Enter the date the Title was received. Finally enter the Date the Title was sent to Settlement. This gives you an electronic record of Titles held in your safe and records the date when they were either taken to settlement, collected by your client or sent via Registered Mail.

Archive Search search by File number, Conveyancer, Property Address or Buyer and Seller. De-Archive by pressing the De-Archive to being up the full file details.

Lookup lists in the Administration area, there are several types of Lookup Lists that relate to different parts of SettsPlus, they allow you to automatically enter in numerous screens details that are commonly retyped many times, e.g. The right to mines of coal or other minerals being excluded from portion of the said land. By adding this in the Title Encumbrances section of Lookup Lists, the item can then be brought up in the Encumbrances Remain section of Contract Details.

Special Conditions can be added here, e.g. Structural Inspection Report.

You can “Add”, “Edit” or “Delete” in all the Lookup Lists. The “F1” function is used to select an item instead of typing the full description.
