6.7 - Rates Library, Account details, Transaction Numbers, Setup Ledgers & System Ledgers

Rates Library

In the Miscellaneous screen, the business information for your name, company, ABN, Landgate Box number.

Then in the Defaults screen, details for fees, strata as well as the estimated funds held for disbursements. You can amend this area to suit your business needs, for example you may wish to take out the estimated charges for a courier and only enter a courier charge if it is required.

For the Tax and Fees as well as the Water Consumption screens any amendments in these screens are usually completed as part of a SettsPlus update.

Settings covers letter setup, types of Quotes available and the greeting on letters for clients, which can be either formal or personal. The Australia Post ID is also setup in this screen.

Account Details

This is the Set up screen for your Bank details, Bank Account name, your ABN. The information for the End of Day and End of Month reports is set in this screen.

Transaction Numbers

This is the area to change the numbers for Cheques, EFT and Receipts. Please make sure when changing any numbers, that you bring the numbers forward only.

Setup Ledgers You may wish to add a new ledger, for example an unclaimed funds ledger to hold funds that have shown in your Bank Statement, but you are unable to find a file to allocate the funds too.

System Ledgers

System Ledgers can be set up by you.

There are two types of System Ledgers, with standard SettsPlus the ledger the numbering is 0000/0001, 0000/0002 and so on, the last two numbers as in 1 is for odd months like January and March and the even numbers like 2 are for even months like February and April. Fees, disbursements, GST and Stamp Duty ledgers are setup this way. To view your system ledgers go to Trust, Print Ledger List.
