2.6 - Strata Levies and Strata Insurance

For Strata Levies Check the Strata Company information is correct. Untick any amount held in Trust. Add the Start and Finish dates for the levies. Add the current levy, any arrears or penalty, then the total amount due.

If the correct Section 43 enquiry fee has not shown, go to Home, Third Parties, search for the Strata Company and add the $100.00 then G in the top right hand of the screen.

If there are additional Levies for adjusting, i.e. an annual levy for ongoing repairs, you can input this information in the “Extra Rates” area.

Should you need to hold funds for items like Electricity or Gas, go to Extra Charges, enter the details and the funds to be held.

If there are no Levies, but there is Strata Insurance, tick the area at the top of the screen. This will bring up the screen for Insurance. Enter the Start and Finish Dates, then the amount of the premium and any balance due. Then enter the Unit entitlement to bring up the correct adjustment of the Insurance.
